How to Create an Account
Creating your LiquidTrust account is a simple, passwordless process that quickly sets up your business for secure global transactions. To become a fully active user, you must complete identity verification, set up your Business Profile, and link a verified Payment Method.
Step-by-Step Instructions: Account Setup
Follow these steps to complete your onboarding and activate your payment services:
- Start with Your Email
- Enter your email address on the sign-up page.
- LiquidTrust uses a passwordless system, so you will receive a unique login code in your inbox. Use this code to verify your identity and securely access the platform.
- Complete Identity Verification
- The system will guide you through the required steps to verify your identity (KYC/KYB). This typically involves:
- Providing required personal information.
- Uploading an ID document (such as a passport or driver's license).
- Taking a selfie using your computer or mobile phone camera for liveness detection.
- The system will guide you through the required steps to verify your identity (KYC/KYB). This typically involves:
- Set Up Your Business Profile
- Once your identity is verified, you will be prompted to create your Business Profile.
- Enter all required company information and upload any supporting Documents requested to verify your business.
- Add a Payment Method
- The final step is linking a Payment Method (like a bank account) to your account. You can complete this step immediately during onboarding or skip it and return to the Payment Methods section in Settings later.
Important Note: You will be unable to send or request a payment until there is a verified Payment Method linked to your account.
Why This Matters
The verification process and required Business Profile are necessary steps to ensure a secure platform for all users and comply with global financial regulations (KYC/KYB). By successfully completing these steps, you fully activate your account and are able to send and receive funds confidently, protecting both the Payor and the Payee.
