Can Freelancers Create an Account?
Yes! LiquidTrust empowers freelancers and individual professionals (Payees) to manage their billing and get paid efficiently. You can use your free LiquidTrust account to send professional Payment Requests to your Payors, eliminating the hassle of managing separate invoicing software and chasing down payments.
The entire login process is passwordless for a seamless, secure experience. To become a fully active user and start sending or requesting payments, you must successfully complete identity verification, set up a Business Profile, and link a verified Payment Method.
How It Works for Freelancers
Freelancers follow a simple, four-step process to get paid:
- Create Your Free Account: Sign up quickly and easily for a LiquidTrust account.
- Invite Your Payors: Send invitations to the businesses you work with. Your client (Payor) does not need a paid subscription to join and pay you.
- Send Payment Requests: Create a Simple Pay or Protected Pay request, attaching your invoice to ensure clear and organized billing.
- Get Paid and Withdraw: Once your Payor completes the payment, the funds are deposited into your LiquidTrust Wallet. From your Wallet, you can initiate a Withdrawal of your earnings to the bank account of your choice.
LiquidTrust provides an ideal solution for freelancers by simplifying administrative tasks and maximizing your take-home pay. You benefit from a free-to-use platform that handles professional Payment Requests and simplifies Withdrawals. Your Payors benefit from a simple, per-transaction fee structure, making it an easy and affordable way for them to pay you and secure the work.
Tips and Notes
- Client Scope: You can currently request payments from U.S.-based businesses, who must also pass our business verification checks.
- Withdrawals: Funds are securely deposited into your LiquidTrust Wallet after payment. Withdrawal to bank accounts located in the US or in local currency where available is free.
- International USD Withdrawals: Recipients located outside the U.S. can choose to have payments sent to a foreign bank in USD for a $5 fee if a local currency payout is also available in their country, or for free if no other currency option exists in that country.
