How to Invite Other Businesses to Transact
Before you can send or receive payments, both parties need to be connected as Business Contacts on LiquidTrust.
Once connected, you can easily transact with confidence—either directly using Simple Pay or securely using Protected Pay (powered by Micro Escrow™).
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Your Dashboard
You can start an invitation from two places:
- From the Dashboard: Under Other Actions, select Invite Payor or Payee.
- From the Navigation Panel: Click Business Contacts, then click Invite a Payor or Payee in the top-right corner. A pop-up window will appear.
- Enter Email Addresses
In the pop-up window, enter the email address of the business contact you want to invite.
Tip: To invite multiple businesses, separate each email address with a comma.
- Send the Invitation
After entering the email(s), click Send Invitation.
The invited business will receive an email prompting them to create or log in to LiquidTrust to accept your connection.
Managing Business Contacts
- View Invited Contacts
Go to the Invited tab under Business Contacts to see pending invitations that haven’t been accepted yet.
- Monitor Status
Once a business accepts your invitation and completes onboarding, they’ll automatically appear under the All Contacts tab.
Once verified, you’ll be able to send or receive payments with them immediately.
Tips and Notes
- Confirmation: The invited business receives an email with a link to join and connect to your account.
- Support: If your contact accepts the invitation but doesn’t appear in your list, contact support@liquidtrust.io for assistance.
