What is Simple Pay?

To help our customers better understand the types of payments our product offers, we have changed the name of our Direct Pay product to Simple Pay, effective August 5, 2025.

Simple Pay (formerly Direct Pay) is a way for a business to simply pay an invoice or request payment on an invoice, depending on which direction the payment is coming from.

• Payee - Request Payment: A Payee can request a Simple Payment from a Payor by uploading the amount requested, a description, a purpose of payment, and then uploading a simple invoice file (JPG, PDF, PNG), along with a Due Date that tells the Payor when they expect to receive this payment. The Payor then will go and Release the payment to the Payee's LiquidTrust Wallet.
• Payor - Send Payment: A Payor can send a Simple Payment to Payee by selecting the same information (minus the due date), and the payment will be released to the Payee's wallet soon after (approximately 1 business day).
