Payor Fees for Sending Simple Pay
Updated: June 25, 2025
Simple Pay (formerly Direct Pay) transactions must be initiated by a U.S.-based business using a bank account on the ACH network.
Each payment includes a transparent fee that’s always displayed before you confirm the transaction.
How Payor Fees Are Determined
Payor fees depend on the Payee’s business location and whether LiquidTrust can perform foreign exchange (FX) and make payouts in the local currency when the Payee is located outside the United States.
For a full list of supported payout countries and currencies, see Which Countries Are Covered by LiquidTrust.
Payor Fee Schedule
Payee location | Where | Payor Fee (per payment) |
---|---|---|
US-based business | Domestic payment | $3.00 USD |
Based outside the USA | All other countries | $10.00 USD |
Note: All Payor fees are displayed in advance before confirming a transaction.
Example
If the Payee is located outside the U.S., the Payor fee will be $10.00 USD.
Additional Notes
- Simple Pay (Direct Pay) can only be initiated by U.S.-based businesses with ACH-enabled bank accounts.
- The Transfer Guarantee no longer covers USD transactions as of June 25, 2025. See our optional Principal Guarantee that covers this for a small fee.
- USD payments may be subject to intermediary or correspondent bank fees.
- LiquidTrust will not withdraw any additional fees, but has no control over third-party bank fees.
- All applicable fees are displayed before payment confirmation.
Why This Matters
LiquidTrust’s Payor fees are designed for clarity and predictability, helping businesses understand their costs upfront. Transparent pricing supports easier budgeting and reduces surprises when sending international payments.
